Beware this is their โasiago meltโ. A plain bagel with two thin strips of cheese. They could at least use a whole slice. Youโre basically getting a plain bagel, these tiny strips barely add any asiago flavor

I have been coming to this Big Apple Bagels for years, and I have always tried to be a patient and understanding customer. However, after my most recent experience, I can confidently say I will not be returning. I stopped in last Sunday after church, and while it was busy, it was nothing out of the ordinary for a weekend morning. What was out of the ordinary was how poorly the place seemed to be managed. There was only one young lady taking orders, while two others were making food and, oddly enough, two more were taking out the garbage right in the middle of a packed dining room. To make matters even more confusing, there appeared to be another employee in the back simply standing around. Perhaps they were occupied with something important, but from a customerโs perspective, it certainly did not appear that way. When it was finally my turn to order, I was met with an attitude that I found completely unacceptable. I politely asked if there were any plain bagels available, as I wanted to bring one home for my granddaughter. I was curtly told, โwhat you see is what you get.โ No apology, no offer to check, nothing. Iโm sorry, but is basic courtesy too much to ask for these days? To

Standing waiting for food as the girl behind the counter complains about the order with a food allergy as she put up her fingers to put quotes around the allergy and made fun of it. I guess she didn't care who was in the restaurant as I was standing right there as she complained about it. So hurtful. I even added extra tip for the inconvenience. This isn't the first time members of the staff complain as loud as they can so everyone in the place can hear them. Not going back.

This place used to be good but as of the last year has been expensive for not very good food. A couple weeks ago I ate here and there was hair in my bagel super disgusting long hair and the shop didnโt look clean at all and some of the girls working were very slow. The girls need to start wearing hairnets or hats with hair tied back because seriously so gross nobody wants someoneโs hair in their food. Especially for such an expensive bagel I had to throw out.

Excellent bagel and coffee shop. Very high level of cleanliness, and sanitation efforts by staff. Food is very high quality, and coffee is always hot and fresh. There are nice slow periods in the afternoon, which make this an excellent place to study, and read a book or journal.
